Drought Early Warning System

Working together with ACTED we created a dashboard for visualizing monthly drought early warning indicators for districts in Karamoja, Uganda. Our solution integrated remotely collected data into a series of interface dials so that officials at the Ugandan Ministry of Agriculture could easily monitor drought warning indicators

Our work was featured as a case study in the World Bank report “ICT for Data Collection and Monitoring & Evaluation: Opportunities and Guidance on Mobile Applications for Forest and Agriculture Sectors”
